Former aviation minister Femi Fani-Kayode has slammed President Muhammadu Buhari for rating high his performance in the last two years in office.
In a tweet on Sunday, April 16, Fani-Kayode accused President Buhari of gross incompetence and prayed that God save Nigeria from him.
Fani-Kayode’s anger follows President Buhari’s felicitations to Christian faithfuls across the country as they celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ on Sunday, April 16.
In his Easter message to Nigeria, President Buhari said his administration has worked hard in the last two years to meet the expectations of Nigerian citizens.
But Fani-Kayode tweeted in reply early on Monday, April 17:
The Buhari govt. is the most divisive, vindictive, incompetent, primitive, mendacious, cruel and ignorant govt. that has EVER ruled Nigeria!

In another tweet, Fani-Kayode disagreed with reports by the National Intelligence Agency that his close ally and former principal ex-President Goodluck Jonathan knew about the N13bn discovered by the EFCC in Lagos.
The idea that @GEJonathan approved the $43m is a lie. DG NIA is a treacherous and lying coward. A massive cover up is on. He must resign.

Reno Omokri, another supporter of the past administration, agrees with Fani-Kayode.
He wrote on his Facebook page early on Monday: “Let me predict that Premium Times and SaharaReporters will start publishing salacious stories from sources with mind blowing allegations of corruption against Dr. Goodluck Jonathan to divert attention from the $43 million Osborne Towers cash and the inconvenient truth of its owner and the intentions for which it was meant for. Let me also predict again that you will be fool if you believe those stories.”
